Welcome to North Lodge, a newly renovated, extremely comfortable and superbly located self-catering holiday cottage near Tighnabruaich in Argyll. North Lodge sleeps four (plus one infant) in an area of Scotland which boasts not just stunning views but also a vast selection of things to see and do.
North Lodge was designed by John Honeyman, RSA (1831-1914) in 1883. Honeyman was an architect and landscape painter mainly known for his church architecture. He was responsible for many Scottish churches including St Michael's Edinburgh, and for work on Iona Cathedral. In 1889 Charles Rennie Mackintosh joined his practice and became a partner when Honeyman retired.
North Lodge sits on the edge of the Ormidale Estate, with Ormidale House (under separate ownership) also offering luxurious accommodation for larger groups.
